Automotive : Body Systems : Headlamp position control

Adaptive Front lighting or also known as Dynamic bend lighting offers drivers more safety and comfort when driving at night. Headlamp systems are evolving towards active front lighting systems using the growing intelligence of vehicles. This will make headlamp lighting more flexible and make driving at night even safer and more comfortable. Glare-free high beams for instance emit the light only into those regions in the traffic area, in which it does not create any glare for other vehicles.

Melexis' position sensors and smart motor controller ICs are perfectly suited to optimize these systems.
