Automotive : Body Systems : Switches

Automotive switches range from simple mechanical snap or momentary switches up to safety critical seat belt latch switches. Melexis can simplify the application challenges with Hall effect or optoelectronic devices to replace mechanical switches. We can also provide LIN bus transceivers like the LIN Switch IC to control banks of mechanical switches in door panels and on dashboards minimizing wire harnesses and lowering vehicle weight.
